The National Portrait Gallery is very special and unique in London
In the Portrait Gallery the focus is not on the artists and painters the focus id on
The subject in the picture or sculpture because in the Portrait Gallery you will see
The Who is who in Britain.

When you start inn second floor you will see the Tudor Gallery with a great Holbein painting of
Henry VIII and great people like Shakespeare and Elisabeth I.
Authors and writers like the Bronte sisters and Mary Shelley are pictured there and back in first floor
You will discover pictures from Oscar Wilde and Churchill as well as Virginia Woolf and her sister
Vanessa Bell.

Fresh and modern are the pictures and photographs from Paul McCartney the late Princess Diana
and the Prince of Wales. Andy Warhol portrayed for the Gallery Elisabeth Taylor and Her Majesty
Queen Elisabeth II.
Last year you could even see a wonderful picture of Damian Lewis there…a fact his fans were
Probably very proud ofJ

The National Portrait Gallery is a great museum because it’s different and another must see
And as well as The National Gallery it’s free and should be on your list
