London Travelcard information

Travelcards let you travel as often as you like on bus, Tube, tram, DLR, London Overground and National Rail services within the London travel zones. They are valid for either one or 7 days and are issued as paper tickets from the Visitor Shop.

Children under 11 travel free on Tube, DLR and London Overground services when accompanied by a fare paying adult. Children under 11 travel free on buses and at all times.

Travelcards are paper tickets you can buy for different time periods and travel zones. With a Travelcard, you can travel as much as you like, as often as you like on bus, Tube, tram, DLR, London Overground and National Rail services in London in the zones you have paid for. Travelcards valid in Zones 3, 4, 5 or 6 are also valid on Trams.
You can get adult and child-rate Travelcards - photo ID is not required. They are issued as paper tickets from the Visitor Shop.
You can buy these Travelcards from the Visitor shop:
Anytime Day Travelcard which can be used for travel at any time on the day of validity and for travel for any journey starting before 0430 the following day.
Off Peak Day Travelcard which can be used on the day of validity from 0930 Monday to Friday, all day Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays. It is also valid for use for any journey starting before 0430 the following day.
7 Day Travelcard which can be used at any time during the 7 day period of validity and for any journey starting before 0430 the day after the expiry date.
If the Travelcard you need is not available, you can buy a Travelcard when you get to London.
If you buy a 7 Day Travelcard from a Tube station, Oyster Ticket Stop or London Travel Information Centre when you get to London, it will be issued to you on an Oyster Card. (A £5 deposit is payable when you get an Oyster card).
