thoughts...

Highly respected director Werner Herzog told the german pa yesterday
that he thinks there not a thing such a star on set but he respects and
treat each of his actors like royalty and I liked that.

See I am aware that and actor a singer or a painter is maybe not that important
than a scientist or a specialist for heart transplants and they don’t invent a cure for
serious diseases  but they making our life’s better.

Culture and art makes our life a bit more valuable and I don’t hesitate to agree
that I learn almost daily from art and I loved the fact Damian called himself an
autodidact and that’s a bit like I try to approach my life.
I have no idea from websites blogs and fan promotion but I do it anyway
because I love it and do it with enthusiasm and learn all the time and that brings ideas
and facts with it.

Its common knowledge here that I am not the healthiest person and to be in touch
with culture and art can makes you so much better and stronger it gives you
a reason to enjoy yourself to have fun to learn about a language an actor and his work
maybe that’s sometimes an even better cure.

It covers something up for sure but if this cover makes you happy…lets cover
And that’s why I liked Herzog thoughts and yes I treat Damian Lewis for sure like royalty
and I am perfectly aware he is a normal human being with flaws and moods like everybody
but he and his work makes me happy and for me its special.

As a fan you spend so much time with an artist and his work and Damian is part of my life
He has a constant presence in my life and I feel good with it so if this covers a deeper emptiness
alright glad it is because I feel less more lonely and captured in my illness ever since
and if  people call it childish well fine who is more lucky than a child??

A child can be free and happy and cares about nothing than the fact to enjoy life.
I was happy like a kid when Damian was seen in Berlin. I feel every week over excited and
nervous before Wolf Hall starts and Emma and I have a special countdown until
we meet in London to see him on stage….a child couldn’t be more happy
Berlin was great but I am not gonna lie to you the reviews weren’t all good. not at all.
But almost all reviews had something in common: They praised Damian Lewis and frankly
most of them praised only Damian Lewis.

As one critic wrote:
“Lewis doesn’t have much screen time but gives a strong sense of his character’s
torment: he is unhappily married and very drawn to Bell but, at the same time
he has such a strongly developed sense of duty and honour that he can never fully
pursue his desires.”

To be among Hollywood stars and be the only one who gets the praise is an enormous compliment.
We all know Damian is one of the greatest actors in his generation but unfortunately a lot of people
Think its Brody and forgetting there is a twenty years plus career Damian has and with roles like
Wolf Hall and QOTD he proves he left Brody more than a year ago and to see a calibre like
John Goodman comes to Europe to do a play with him is just fabulous!!

Emma always says I would be proud like a Mum lol but I am also a very critical Mum
I am so very impressed to see his Henry and to read the good critics about his performances
I follow his career since seven years long before Homeland and loads of fans are much longer
On the Lewis road than I am but we all were able to witness his development and his wide range of skills.
That’s royaltyJ
