Save the Children UK recently held its Secret Winter Gala. The wonderful Allie Esiri was the chair of the event committee and the evening evening raised over 1 million pounds for Save the Children including matching funding from the UK government.
Damian Lewis attended the Gala with his wife Helen McCrory. Below is a short video about the Gala (with a glimpse of Damian Lewis at 0:58) as well as a few nice pics from the event.

"Held at the magnificent Guildhall London, The Secret Winter Gala was inspired by Philip Pullman’s Grimm Tales for Young and Old. A theatrical experience infused with storytelling magic, every element of the evening was designed to bring the tales to life.
The evening was attended by over 380 guests including Samantha Cameron, Helena Bonham Carter, Damian Lewis, Dominic West, Myleene Klass, Poppy Delevingne and Dom Joly.
Grimm Tales theatre production provided the immersive entertainment for the evening, as characters from the Grimm Tales came to life in the 600 year old Crypts of the Guildhall. Little Red Riding Hood was pursued by a real-life wolf, Snow White busily made seven little beds, and the Prince searched for his Cinderella, asking guests to try on the Burberry golden slipper."
